Playing music
I've experience for more than 25 years playing in heavy-rock, blues-rock, blues, oldie and rock-cover-bands, partly on a semi-professional level. I' m an autodidact, main instrument is guitar, later also bass-guitar u. sax . If time permits, I also delve into mandoline or mandola and work through Irish, Celtic and Bluegrass stuff and respectively do experience in my "home-studio". Just startet new band, called "600Pounds", which indeed is a fun band, but almost all members are "old cowboys" like to play "old school rock music" on a "fine" level.

Listening music
I would like to assess my musical taste more conservative, classical-rooted to the soil, prefering “handmade music” - means blocking against any kind of “electronical music” like house, techno, ambient etc. In the earlier years, I’ve heard lot of guitar dominated rock, heavy-rock and blues music from “A” like AC DC to “Z” like ZZ Top, nowadays more into jazz, fusion and classical music. Scope covers from Michel Petrucciani, Joe Sample, Oscar Peterson, Birelli Lagrene, Miles Davis, Herb Ellis, John Scofield, Stanley Clarke, Jaco Pastoruis to Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis etc. I like high-end hifi equipment, use a full valve based equipement (custom build by Thomas Reussenzehn), combined with  a Transrotor record player and a Marantz high end CD player.

Reading
Collecting and reading biografies of important people (Scientists, Artiists, historical characters, Philosphers, famous contemporaries). Also have a faible for classical russian litteratuers (Tolstoi, Pasternak, Gorki, Andrejew, Dostrojewskij and Solschenizyn).

Cooking
As much as I like to eat, as much I like to cook. I would characterise my cuisine as mediterran-asian with a whiff of arabian-oriental.  ...always searching for authentic restaurants (e.g. Italian, Lebanese, Thai). Thus, if you have a recommendation, give it to me :-).

Art
Painter from long ago like Dürer, Michelangelo, Botticelli, Raffael, Tizian, Da Vinci, Rembrandt, van Dyke having fascination on me time and again. I also be into impressionists like Monet, Manet, Renoir, Degas, Cezanne, Gauguin or Toulouse-Lautrec, Liebermann.
